Promote Transparency, Accountability, and Civil Participation On AIDS Response
Indonesia AIDS Coalition is a community based organization with individual membership, focusing on the promotion of transparency, accountability and civil society participation in AIDS response by mainstreaming gender equality, human rights, women rights, and minority rights in order to create more comprehensive AIDS programs.
The members come from various background community affected by HIV and AIDS including PLHIV, Drug User, Women Living with HIV, Gay, Transgender, Sex workers and Youth. In order to realize this, IAC has some strategies, which encompass three broad initiatives: AIDS programatic and budget monitoring, Promoting participation of AIDS affected groups in AIDS policy development and M&E, Systemic advocacy and IT based campaign.

The objectives of the present assessment are the following:
1. To understand how are issues of human right are addressed, implemented, and monitored in relation toi HIV and AIDS prevention;
2. To highlight how issues related to children, youths, and women are addressed in the current response to HIV and AIDS.
3. To understand the qualitative nature of experiences in dealing with accessing or utilizing HIV and AIDS related services and prevention programs;
4. To understand issues of leadership among government institutions, development partners, and CSO in the implementation of the National Strategy to deal with the HIV and AIDS epidemic.
